Come hear the story from Maud Dahme

On April 16th members of the Club joined others at St. Joseph Social Service Center in Elizabeth preparing hundreds of sandwiches for community members in need. The team at St. Joseph’s does outstanding work and this was a rewarding service project for our club!

Members of the Rotary Club attended the Rescue Squad Open House in support of our fellow volunteers! It was great to learn more about the important work they do under the leadership of Eric Pastore and to see firsthand how the rescue squad works together with the fire and police departments to serve the community!

The Rotary Club of Mountainside had the privilege of sponsoring a presentation by Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme. Her story was deeply moving and served as a powerful reminder of resilience, compassion, and the importance of never forgetting. We bring important programs to the community! Mountainside Rotary was pleased to welcome Patrick Sweeney, Assistant Vice President of Operations at Children’s Specialized Hospital, who shared insight into the hospital’s incredible mission of caring for children with complex needs. We look forward to exploring ways Mountainside Rotary and RWJ Children’s Specialized Hospital can work together in the future.
