Meet Mohit Dilwali Rotary Club of Mountainside

Mountainside Rotary had the pleasure of spending time with the wonderful residents at Brighton Gardens, Sunrise Senior Living. We came prepared to play games, but ended up doing something even better- talking, laughing, answering questions about Rotary. We brought delicious cookies from Bovella’s that Marco Avella donated to share. It was such a special afternoon.

Members of the Rotary Club attended the Rescue Squad Open House in support of our fellow volunteers! It was great to learn more about the important work they do under the leadership of Eric Pastore and to see firsthand how the rescue squad works together with the fire and police departments to serve the community!

The Rotary Club proudly presented the “Service Above Self” Awards to Lawrence Worth and Nicholas Klein during the Deerfield School Promotion ceremony. These young students demonstrate character, leadership and a commitment to helping others. Congratulations to Lawrence and Nicholas! Congratulations to all the Deerfield graduates!

The Rotary Club of Mountainside had the privilege of sponsoring a presentation by Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme. Her story was deeply moving and served as a powerful reminder of resilience, compassion, and the importance of never forgetting. We bring important programs to the community! The Rotary Club of Mountainside was honored to volunteer at the St. Joseph Social Service Center in Elizabeth, where we helped serve meals to approximately 175 guests.
